石垣島で藍染作家として活動されている島藍農園さまに特別に11号帆布を染めていただき、バッグを制作しています。その裁断過程で出てくるハギレ。「せっかく染めて頂いた藍染生地を無駄にしたくない！」という想いから、生まれたブローチです。

ハギレを紐状につなぎ、手編みしてから、ワックスでコーティングしています。帆布は伸びない且つ硬い生地のため、編む素材としては不向きですが、「やりたい！」という想いだけで編みました。編むことは小学生の時からしていますが、伸びない硬い帆布を編むのに試行錯誤した思い入れのある作品です。土台は厚手牛革使用。

ムラ染めされた帆布を編むため、同じものは１つとなく、少しずつ表情が異なります。クラフト感たっぷりのブローチは、シンプルなお洋服やストール、スカーフなどのアクセントにぴったりです。天然素材の風合いを楽しんでください。

帆布のような地模様がとても洒落なエンボス加工の箱に入れて、お届けするため、プレゼントにもおすすめです。
